“Excellent Stay”
This hotel is centrally location to Taksim Square. It is on a pretty hip street where if you want you can enjoy everything right outside your door. The room was very clean and nice. This hotel is centrally location to Taksim Square. It is on a pretty hip street where if you want you can enjoy everything right outside your door. The room was very clean and nice. The shower is a little small but for me that is minor. The staff is awesome. Upon check in I asked for a king room and although they didn't have any they showed me a room in another hotel of theirs (one block away) and offered to move me there if I like (I didn't as the room in this location was bigger). All the amenities you could want in a hotel is here. Free bottle water is included with the room (small but nice touch). Wifi was not the best (goes in and out). The room was cleaned daily. Overall a great stay, the next time I'm in Istanbul and need a place to stay I would not hesitate to book here!

The hotel is located within 20 minutes walking distance from the airport shuttle bus stop (very convenient!). New well-designed rooms, modern facilities, very friendly staff, excellent location near İstiklal Caddesi. The district is very lively, there are a lot of cafes, restaurants and kebab houses around. The only negative thing is that you can't get a good view from your window (at least we couldn't). We've got a very good experience here. And don't forget to visit Van Kahvaltı Evi cafe for breakfast. You'll have to walk for 15 minutes but it really worth it!

Stories Hotel Kuloglu is one of litterally hundreds if not thousands hotels around Taxim sq and Istiklal road. But what makes it so unique is the unbeliavable boutique ambience, the location, and the unparalleled service of the staff. The location is great, just minutes walk of Taxim square and one step from Istiklal street. The hotel decoration, room functionality and amenities were top grade. last but not least, the staff service and support was unparalled, even compared to the usually superb hospitality of Turkish hotels. Really top notch place... I will go again...

“Great place to stay”

This was our second visit, we'd stayed the previous year and loved the location. The hotel is beautifully designed and the price range really good. We had a deluxe room with a king bed and walk in shower room. Really nice layout. Our only suggestion is to ask for a room at the back (where we stayed previously) so you can avoid the small amount of street noise. Doesn't matter if you're going to be out partying though. Taxi driver from the airport found it easy enough, and it helps if you've got the name, address and phone number written down so they can call ahead if they need directions. The hotel is just off the many shopping area, but go the opposite direction and there are some quirky independent shops and bars, going towards Cihangir. Istanbul is amazing I strongly recommend going, and this is a great place to start your visit. Don't worry that no food is served on the premises, there's so many options all around you to choose from, and little shops you can buy your own bottled water if you don't want to buy from the minibar. If I remember correctly I think there's complimentary bottles of water anyway, and a selection of teas. The Nespresso machine was extra. Just to be clear though, Turkish tea and coffee is not the same as anywhere else, so if you like it a particular way, ask for it that way. But I suggest you try them, you may like them better.
