Great first experience staying in a Riad and not a branded hotel. We felt very comfortable and secure in Riad Dar Zitouna. Nagat the Housekeeper provided a great breakfast each morning, and kept the place very clean. There were multiple levels of contact and support from the Riad, including a supervisor, Hind, and Abubaker who was extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely return there in Marrakesh.

we loved our stay in Riad Zitona, the staff was so caring and attentive to our needs. we were 2 families and so we had the riad to ourselves. we had access to the fridge and kitchen but did not cook during our stay because restaurant food was so easily available and good. Breakfast spread was very nice and varied. our rooms were nice and warm at night because of the unit heaters in each room. the walk to Jmaa al Fnaa was a good 20 min walk but gave us an opportunity to see many aspects of the Medina we otherwise would not have seen. It was also good not to be in the center of the noisy square. Staying in a Riad is a very different experience from a hotel. If you want to go back in time and really experience what it must have been like ages ago try it, it is charming. Also the management of this Riad is superb. Hind was meticulously checking on our houskeeper diligent Najat and on us daily as was Abu Baker who was a very resourceful guide for us. Thanks to you all we had a beautiful stay.

Very pleased with the care and attention received during our stay at Dar Zeitouna. Abubaker attended to our every need and took time to make sure we were comfortable. Very pleased with the care and attention received during our stay at Dar Zeitouna. Abubaker attended to our every need and took time to make sure we were comfortable. It is about a 25 minute walk to Jame el Fna so be aware of that when booking. It would have been great if the showers had doors since it can get a little messy without one. Najat (the cook/housekeeper) was also wonderful and made a beautiful spread for us every morning. Also, Hind the head housekeeper was also fantastic. It can get a bit chilly but otherwise really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely return soon!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in Riad Zitouna from 27 November to 2 December 2019.Thankyou Najet and the team from Dar Zellige.This beautiful place is the perfect spot to celebrate a big birthday with family and friends.(The surprise visit from musicians bearing cake was unforgettable) . Our group ranged in age from 1 to 70+. We ate on the rooftop nearly every night and slept like logs.We loved the peace and quiet of the courtyard with its huge olive tree and the style in which the riad has been restored. Every corner, every doorway a pleasure. A magical place morning, noon and night. Najet gave help and advice whenever needed and provided delicious and varied breakfasts every morning. Our evening meals were partly cooked by her and partly by Dar Zellige and every dish was superb.Her calm presence, sympathy and attention to our needs was a large part of the reason we loved our stay. Highly recommended.

“Brilliant.... the best Riad on this trip to Morocco”
The decor, comfort and overall facilities were faultless. The staff were efficient a big difference from experiences in other places during this visit to other cities in Morocco.
