So, I never write reviews for hotels but I needed to for this one. I stayed with my partner in this hotel and honestly, for what we paid, I was very happy. I'm not going to lie I was skeptical because the reviews were mixed, but if you're like us, we don't really stay in hotels other than to sleep. With that said, if you're looking for something more luxurious with better service or amenities, this probably isn't the place for you. However, we did arrive very early when I think check-in was 2 pm, and they let us have a room much earlier around 9 am I would say with no additional fee which was very nice. Granted, that was most likely because they had space, but I know some higher-end hotels will charge you for early check-in. But, for the price we paid, I was very happy with the room. It was a bit tight, but everything was clean which was something I was very happy about. The bathroom was also nice even though it was small. Overall, yes, the hotel could have been better with service, but for what we paid, I didn't expect it to be the Ritz, but it also exceeded my expectations.

“Very out-of-the-way.”
Very nice middle-level hotel, like your average Quality Inn in the USA. Excellent bed, clean, friendly staff. Good breakfast that’s free unless you use Priceline. As a Priceline guy, they wanted 17euros and there’s better breakfast for less...if you don’t mind walking a quarter miles to the local cafes. Yes, you have to WALK a quarter miles to get to a shopping and eating street! And the metro stop is even farther. So it’s a long walk for old folks. And, no, they don’t have a shuttle bus to the airport. And they don’t have a restaurant.

“If you like a quiet room it is ok to stay, but this place has issues!”

Ok, so I live country and am spoiled with silence at night. This alone was worth a lot to me, but not sure its worth enough to stay here again. The room was truly quiet, spacious with a nice view of the Eiffel tower. With that said, I requested a room with 2 beds like 5+ months prior, and got a king size bed with a pull out couch. The door lock was broken, so I/we required to be escorted EVERY single time to our room to get in. I was there for 5 days, and they were unable to repair the door all week long. I do have to say they were very nice every time about taking me upstairs, even though I had to wait until they were free to take me upstairs. What really was upsetting was one incident on the last day, where, I asked if I could go help myself to a beer, as there was no one attending the bar, which seemed to be par for the course, and had to get my own beer and bring it ot the front desk to charge me. Anyway, this evening, after getting permission to ge get myself a beer, while getting my drink, suddenly there was a man screaming at the top of his lungs to step away and put the bottle down. As I had my back to him and he was screaming soooo aggressively and I did not know if he was going to physically attack me , my only option was to place my hands on my head, get up slowly and turn around to face my aggressor. When i turned around, it turned out to be a staff member. His name was Kebe and continued to yell at me at the top of his lungs! What a horrible experience! Is it that difficult to find good help in Paris, that you must hire people that are NOT prepared to deal with the public? This man is dangerous and should NOT deal with guests. Hard to decide if I stay here again!
