“Cool Place...No longer”

We stayed here for our first time in Miami back in September 2017. The hotel was in a perfect location, right in the heart of South Beach, walking distance to all the major attractions...less than a few mins to the beach, restaurants, bars and shops all on the doorstep. The hotel was super busy when we arrived with a pool party happening. Our room overlooked the busy Collins Avenue which was awesome. The room was art-deco and we felt right at home in Miami. We had a corner room, so lots of space, the wooden floors were slightly uneven and creaky - but that added to the character. The major negative point of the room was the bathroom was extremely small and very dated. Our room was very comfortable, although the walls/ceilings were quite thin, so somewhat noisy - the windows were barely sound insulated either. The pool was large, and relaxing when there wasnt a pool party going down. However, lots of litter was left around and in the pool after the party. Not great - needed cleaning up quicker. The outside bar was also amazing and chilled to sit at in the evening under the amazing big tree. We loved our stayed here, such a shame to see it has now closed.

Beautiful art deco style hotel with friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. We stayed as part of a Contiki group and this hotel is well situated for access to the beach and many restaurants that we enjoyed. I was quite sick the second day of our stay and the hotel was a perfect quiet place to relax in bed with air conditioning and a pool available. I fell in love with the hotel as soon as I saw it and when I return to Miami, I will absolutely stay here again

“Great stay ”
Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children of 8 and 4) enjoyed the stay very much. We spend 2 nights at the Hall hotel and the 2nd night was new years eve. Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children of 8 and 4) enjoyed the stay very much. We spend 2 nights at the Hall hotel and the 2nd night was new years eve. The room was very big with plenty of space for the 4 of us. Yes it can be noisy, but that comes with being in the middle of the hussle and bussle of South Beach. We parked our rental car in a public car park arround the corner for a reasonable daily fee. We loved the chairs at the beach that are included for hotel guests. It was nice to relax with a cold drink in the garden where the kids had some room to play. The hotel has a great South Beach atmosphere. We would stay here again.

This hotel looks amazing, the style and design are perfect but it is the little things which matter. The 'free' cocktail you are offered on checking in is a tiny pathetic thing that has barely sniffed any alcohol and I was a bit put out to be charged a resort fee each day for their spot on the beach, wether you use it or not. I think it would make more sense if you pay if you use it. That said, the pool suite we had was huge and spotlessly clean with a lovely balcony although the coffee machine was rubbish compared to the Nespressos you usually get in European hotels these days. The bar area at the back was also nice and buzzy of a evening and a handy shortcut to Espanola Way etc.

This hotel is in a central location close to the lovely Miami Beach. But either you are going to the beach or not, you have to pay an extra charge of USD 22 "resort" fee for each night which is not stated when you book the hotel. And do not eat breakfast at the "Sunny" restaurant at the hotel, this was very expencive compared to the food we got, and slow, we waited 45 minutes for breakfast. But the concierge Reynald is great, he is very service minded, always with a positive attitude!
